Join our Membership Committee, where you help develop and implement outreach strategies that attract new members and ideas into the PSC community. You’ll conduct new member orientations, making sure each newcomer feels welcomed and valued from day one. SUNSHINE COMMITTEE: An Exciting Opportunity to Make a Difference
Are you someone who delights in brightening the lives of others and nurturing a sense of belonging? Our committee is built on the belief that every act of kindness, no matter how small, sends ripples throughout our group, cultivating a culture of genuine care and unwavering support. By joining us, you’ll have the opportunity to forge meaningful friendships with fellow committee members and the people you serve, deepening your connection to the community.
The Sunshine Committee hosts monthly birthday and anniversary luncheons that bring everyone together, creating memorable moments with a free meal prepared by our Chef, Joe, along with laughter and heartfelt recognition for all our members’ special days. We also organize unforgettable events, such as our eagerly anticipated summer picnic—a highlight of the year—where we add energy and creativity to organizing games, food, and festivities that truly make the occasion shine. We celebrate creativity in all its forms, whether you're planning parties or designing cards—your unique touch will make every event truly special. Above all, we strive to be the caring heart of our community by reaching out to members who are ill, shut-in, or facing special challenges, offering a simple call, card, or visit to lift spirits and remind them they are not alone.

MARKETING and COMMUNICATIONS ADVOCATE: Grow Our Impact!
Are you passionate about storytelling, creative communication, and forging lasting community ties? We’re looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to become our Marketing and Communications Advocate and take PSC’s programs to new heights.
As a Marketing and Communications volunteer, you will play a key role in raising awareness about PSC’s services, promoting our events, and expanding our network of community partners. Your voice will be vital in highlighting our mission and sharing the inspiring work PSC performs every day.
We need a creative mind to develop and share engaging content for social media, newsletters, emails, flyers, and our website. If you enjoy crafting compelling stories, designing eye-catching posts, or sparking conversations online, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact. You will contribute by writing, designing, and distributing content that reflects PSC’s mission, ensuring all communications align with our brand and values, promoting upcoming events to boost attendance and excitement, expanding our social media presence and online community, and building relationships with local businesses and organizations.

Recent Volunteer Info Session

We had a fantastic turnout at our Get Involved: Volunteer Info Session at the Parker Library! It was heartwarming to see so many community members come together to learn about volunteer opportunities at the Parker Senior Center and beyond.
A huge thank you to all who attended, shared their time, and contributed to the energy in the room. From heartfelt stories to meaningful connections, the event was a great reminder of how much we can accomplish together.
